• PRESSURE

    BIOGRAPHY
Born Delyno Brown in the U.S. Virgin Islands, Pressure was introduced to music by his father, who was a member of a popular local band. Pressure first rose to prominence in the Virgin Islands as a member of the Star Lion Family reggae group which opened concerts for established artists such as Capleton, Buju Banton and Bunny Wailer.

His debut album "The Pressure in On", produced by Dean Pond was released in 2005. In 2007 Pressure was thrust into the international spotlight after his single "Love and Affection", a song originally recorded for Pond but updated by Jamaican producer Don Corleon was placed on the famed Reggae Gold compilation. He would release the album "Love and Affection" also produced by Don Coreleon in 2007 followed by "Coming Back for You" in 2009 which saw him reunited with Dean Pond. His fourth album, Africa Redemption, was released in 2012. He worked on the album with producer Trevor "Baby G" James in Jamaica and Damian and Stephen Marley in Miami.

"The Sound" produced by St Croix's Tippy of I-Grade records was released in 2014 and the U.S. Virgin Islands Tourism Department selected Pressure's "Virgin Islands Nice" from the album as the theme song for their global marketing campaign. Pressure made several high profile appearances during the campaign including the Nationally syndicated Wendy Williams Show.

Pressure continues to release music at a prolific rate and is widely as the most well-known solo reggae artist from Virgin Islands.
